Finally Planting

To continue with this year's gardening adventures, I thought I'd share of few pics of where are gardens are headed. We've finally planted something after tearing our gardens upside down. 

All of the plants we've put in so far are perennials. 

They were all either transplanted from our own garden, from my mother-in-law's garden, or from some other contacts hoping to thin out their perennials. 

Here's what we've planted in the back shaded garden: 

Including chives :) Anyone craving baked potatoes now?!?

In this garden we just transplanted all our own plants, and then, duh duh duh.... put in a fountain!!! 

Isn't it nice?? I actually LOVE the look of this fountain here! So perfect for the spot! 

You can see that there are some freshly transplanted plants in the front garden too now - day lillies, peonies, daisies, and something else that I can't recall the name of. 

Slowly but surely it's all coming together!
