The Heart to Heart Challenge this week was to incorporate flowers into your design.
Adds a nice spring flare, don't you think?
I chose to add flowers by incorporating floral papers, stamps, and accessories into a page design for my newborn daughter.
Since I'm making a scrapbook for her, and not a baby book, I thought it was important to find some way of recording her milestones (i.e. first step, first raspberries, weights, etc.) in the scrapbook. That's how I came up with the idea of making a pouch with pull-out tags. I used a stamp from the Artbooking CTMH cricut collection to make the journalling rectangle that I will record her information on from month to month.
Materials:
(all CTMH unless otherwise stated)
Paper: from the Ivy Lane Paper Pack
Stamps: Heart, "lovely", and journalling spot all from the Artbooking cricut collection
Ink: Smokey Plum and Hollyhock
Others: Ivy Lane Assortmant, Purple Glitter Gems, Purple Shimmer Trim, kraft paper gift tags (Recollections from Michaels), purple embroidery thread, and words cut out with the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge

Hope you like it!
