Aaand the Gardening Continues...

Next task: Pull up all of the Junipers from the front of the house! Here's Mr. A getting started. Let me tell you, this was no easy task! These suckers hang on for dear life, and have immense root structures underneath them. One root support several feet of the schrub too, so getting to the roots was half the battle! One of them took us 30 minutes to pull up! And they leave little pricks on your arms that made me look like I had a bad rash for the next 24 hours, lol. Fun times.

And all pulled up!! Next steps: 1) remove rocks 2) add more soil 3) add new plants

We sacrificed two nice shovels in the process...

After pulling up all the plants, and then re-planting all of them, I was exhausted! That was enough gardening for one day :) Although we have put in some plants already and they look great! Can't wait to share!
